iPhone Is Fully Charged But Refuses to Turn Itself On

Phones are going to experience a hiccup here and there and when they do, it can be a major inconvenience because we rely on them so much. If you have attempted to turn on your phone, but it just will not turn on, you may be wondering just what is going on. If the phone is charged, the problem is likely due to something else going on. Below, we will discuss some of the different reasons why your iPhone may not be turning on even though it is fully charged.  Bad Battery or Charging Port  A bad battery or charging port can lead to your phone not turning on due to a poor charge. While you may think the phone is fully charged, if you have a bad battery or charging port, it may not be at all or it may have a very weak charge. Your phone requires a certain amount of battery to be able to turn on, so if it does not have it, it cannot turn on.  One way to fix the issue is to look inside the charging port to see if it has been damaged or see if it is broken or loose. If it is, you will need to have it replaced. If not, you should try to replace the battery to see if that fixes the issue.  Bad Power Button  Your phone may not be turning on because the power button is bad. This can happen from time to time and when you press it down, there may not be a connection for it to turn on. One way to test this is to plug your device into a different power supply and then power the phone on. If it turns on, it is not the power button. If it does not turn on, then it may be the power button.  Bad Display  If you cannot see anything appearing on your screen when you turn it on, you may think the phone is not turning on, but it could be. In fact, if the display is bad, the screen may very well be on and you just cannot see anything. To test this, listen for sound on the device. If you can hear sound, then the display is bad.  Restart Required  Your phone may be in need of a forced restart. If there is a software issue with the iOS or if an app is not working correctly, it can cause issues. The best way to see if a forced restart will work is to try it. If your phone turns on after the restart and you can see the screen, then that is all that was needed. If it does not, then the problem may be more complicated.  Bad Logic Board  A phone relies on its motherboard (logic board) to operate and when issues arise with the board, the phone reacts to that. A damaged or faulty board can cause your phone not to turn on, even when it is charged. Some other issues you may experience include problems with the dot project or face ID. If the logic board is the problem, you may require a repair or a replacement of the part.  We Can Repair or Replace Your Logic Board  If you have tried to fix your iPhone and you have not had any luck, you may need to take your phone to an experienced professional to have it inspected.
