What Is Ceramic Shield?
The Ceramic Shield used on Apple’s newest iPhones is designed by
Corning – one of the world’s leading innovators in material science. While many may be familiar with Gorilla Glass, which is also made by Corning, Ceramic Shield is designed to be even stronger. What makes ceramic shield unique is a complex process that allows crystals to form in the glass, leading to increased toughness.
