Galaxy Note 4 Screen and LCD – A Hefty Price For Repair

Do you own a Samsung Galaxy Note 4? If so, what do you like best – the 5.7’’ Quad HD Super AMOLED display? Or perhaps its quick charging power? There is a lot to love – but one thing that can prove problematic is the fact that the glass screen cannot be replaced if it becomes damaged. This means, in a nutshell, that it is going to cost you a lot of money if you end up damaging the screen to the point that replacement is necessary.
What exactly does this mean for users?
Don’t break the screen! Well, sometimes things happen…there are solutions, but they might not be cost-effective for you.
Here’s the 411…
In the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N9110A), the LCD and screen are fused together. What this means is, that if glass replacement is needed, it is actually not even a possibility at all. The LCD would have to be replaced, which of course, is more complex and comes at a higher price tag. It can cost well over $100 for screen and digitizer assembly and sometimes upwards of $200 depending on where you look. You can come to the conclusion on your own that it is extremely beneficial to invest in some sort of protective screen covering. You don’t want to spend close to what you could put down to buy a brand new device. Do what you can to protect the screen of your Samsung Galaxy Note 4!
